This is a fac-simile edition of Bolted Book (1927) an experimental project of typographic design, created by Futurist artist Fortunato Depero (1892-1960). Published in collaboration with Designers & Books and Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporanea di Trento e Rovereto (MART), the publication includes a special booklet with a reading guide. The careful printing maintained the integrity of this fresh, vital, modern document which features design work, poetry, and reproductions of Futurist art. The publication of this edition of Bolted Book was especially delightful as Depero’s oeuvre was the subject of CIMA inaugural exhibition in 2014. This dynamic publication and work of art is the only complete and faithful reproduction of Depero’s original and will certainly enrich any collection of art, design, or rare books.
